Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy informs both users of our website (the “Website”) and online customers about certain information collected by Duvaltex Inc. By using the Website, you consent to our use of such information as described in this Privacy Policy. Duvaltex is strongly committed to protecting individual privacy and not sharing personal information with third parties, except for the limited purposes discussed by this Policy.

Personal Data

Personal Data” means any information that may be used to identify a natural person. Such information includes addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, payment history, and, if they serve to identify a natural person, IP address and geolocation data.

Unless you have “Opted In” to receive cookies on your device for “Preferences”, “Statistics” and “Marketing,” the Website will not automatically collect Personal Data or “Device Information” (as defined below). The foregoing does not, however, apply to “Necessary” cookies, which are cookies that are necessary for the proper functioning of the Website. These “Necessary” cookies are required to enable core functionality and must be accepted for the Website to work. They can be used for authentication, security or localization purposes. Without these cookies, services you have asked for, like adding items to your shopping basket, cannot be provided. If you disable these cookies certain parts of the Website will not function for you, for example, adding items to your basket, proceeding to checkout.

Personal Data may be used or stored by us or our service providers located outside the United States and Canada. If so, it may be subject to the laws of the country in which it is used or stored.

Personal Information You Provide to Us

We collect information: (1) automatically (only if you have “Opted In”) when you browse the Website, or from (2) forms that you fill out on the Website; (3) email inquiries; (4) purchases; and (5) conversations you have with our representatives via telephone, chat or messaging.

If we do collect any Personal Data related to you, you have the right to access it and to ask that it be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us at [email protected].

Information That We Collect Automatically

When you visit the Website, we collect information (through our authorized service providers) about the device and type of browser you use, some of the cookies installed on your device, and which website or search terms referred you to the Website. We also collect information about how you interact with the Website, including pages you visit and products you view. Google Tag Manager may temporarily collect your IP address and geolocation information, but it only provides us with anonymized information identifying the relative geographical location (country, region, and city) of our users, not their actual IP addresses. We refer to this automatically collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

- “Cookies.” (Data files that websites place on your device. For more information about cookies, and how to disable them, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.)

- “Log files.” (Log files track actions on a website by collecting data such as your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.)

- “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels.” (There record information about how you interact with the Website.

We use the following tools to collect Device Information:

Google Analytics. Through its tracking code, Google Analytics monitors general Website use by collecting data regarding sales, shopping cart activity (including leaving products behind), pages visited, how long visitors spend on the Website, which links are clicked on, whether someone is a return visitor, and other information, all of which is then aggregated in anonymized reports to us.

Facebook Pixels. If you have an account with Facebook, Meta tracks what you “like” and post. Via “pixels” embedded on websites such as ours, Meta also knows what other sites you access. These pixels send anonymized data to Facebook using a privacy-safe method called “data-hashing,” which anonymizes information from our Website and matches it with anonymized Facebook data before being automatically and securely deleted.

Social Media Buttons. When you click on social media buttons on our Website (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn), Google Analytics will register that action for us.

How we Use your Personal Data

We share your Device Information with our authorized service providers so that they can help us improve our products and services by providing us with reports related to the Website’s effectiveness and desirability of our products and services. We may also use such information for:

  • remarketing, re-engagement, and “similar audience” advertising to reach people who have visited the Website;
  • customized display when you browse the web and use apps;
  • matching you with the right products based on your being part of a similar audience.

Our third-party service providers, including Google, will show you ads on websites across the internet by using cookies and device identifiers from your past visits to the Website.

We use your Personal Data to fulfill orders and communicate with you about them. We may use your email address to provide information about our products, but all such emails allow you to opt out of future emails. We will never ask you for Personal Information via email.

We may share your Personal Data to comply with applicable laws and regulations; to monitor transactions on our Website in order to prevent fraud; to respond to subpoenas, search warrants, or other lawful requests for information; and otherwise to protect our rights.

We do not sell Personal Data, but if we ever contemplate doing so, you will have the right to Opt-In before any sale takes place.

Lastly, if Duvaltex, or any portion of its assets, is acquired by a third party, the information we have collected and stored may be among the assets transferred to the acquiring party, and you hereby consent to such transfer.

Except as described above, we do not provide or transfer your Personal Data to any third party without your prior consent.
